Darnell Phillips

Darnell Phillips was wrongfully convicted in 1991. He spent nearly 28 years in prison before being freed on parole in September 2018.  While Darnell is free, he has not yet been exonerated despite having DNA evidence that he is not the perpetrator.  Darnell has a phenomenal legal team with the UVA Innocence Project.

Darnell dreams of becoming a preacher and has already begun speaking at churches in Virginia. We've created a GoFundMe to support Darnell and help him build his life.
